Tax collection increased due to govt’s policies: Durrani
ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Affairs Iftikhar Durrani said the ratio of tax collection had been increased due to prudent policies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the national economy had been improving in the country and the PTI government had taken gigantic measures to increase reservoirs.
Iftikhar Durrani said the country was moving on a path of development and prosperity to achieve milestone.
The present government was effectively working to bring political and economic stability in the country, he added. Durrani said the Opposition was depressed due to performance and policies of the PTI government.
He said several leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party were involved in corruption and cases had been registered against them during previous regimes.
To a question, he said PTI had taken thumping majority in the general election 2018 due to its Khyber Pakhunkhwa government’s performance.
