Children injured after school van in Karachi catches fire

At least 14 children suffered burn injures after their school van caught fire at Karachi’s Orangi Town on Saturday morning.
According to local media reports, the school van caught fire due to a short circuit that led to the van catching fire. However, the cylinder installed in the van remained intact.
The children inside the van suffered burn injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital. Two children with severe burn wounds were shifted to Civil Hospital, Karachi. They are said to be out of danger.
Out of the 14 students, four were discharged after they were given immediate treatment.
