80 Hindu couples to tie the knot at mass wedding ceremony in Pakistan

KARACHI – Around 80 couples are expected to tie the knot at the 11th Annual Mass Weddings Ceremony organized by Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) at Railway Ground on Sunday.
Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council and Member of National Assembly Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani announced this in a statement on Friday.
He said that this year’s annual combined marriages ceremony would facilitate about 80 Hindu couples to enter the wedlock in a colorful cultural ceremony.
He said that many prominent dignitaries, belonging to different walks of life, were also invited to bless the couples.
The PHC, on the occasion, would also provide financial support to the newly-wed couples so that they could start their matrimonial life with honor and dignity.
Dr Ramesh Vankwani said that such combined marriages ceremonies would also play pivotal role for projecting the positive image of Pakistan at international level.
