Egypt is interested in buying JF- 17 Fighter Aircrafts from Pakistan: Egypt Ambassador

ISLAMABAD: Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan, Sherif Shaheen met with Federal Minister for Defense Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain and expressed his desire to buy the JF- 17 fighter aircrafts. Federal Minister said that currently Pakistan is selling its traditional weapons to USA, UK and Germany. He also offered sale of JF- 17 and Super Mashak to Egypt. Iraq and Turkey will also buy the 20 and 52 Super Mashak respectively and agreement has been signed with both countries. He further said that Pakistan wants to increase cooperation regarding defense production with Egypt. Both countries have cordial and strong relationships. “A close cooperation between the two countries will also help other Muslim countries over the world,” he added. The Egypt ambassador said at the occasion that both countries having strong relations and cooperation should be increased in both countries regarding defense industry. Egypt will send a defense delegation in Pakistan to buy the defense related products from Pakistan.
