PTI secures support of 174 MNAs to form government in center

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry has on Sunday claimed to have secured support of 174 members to form government in the center.

PTI is all set to formally nominate Imran Khan as candidate for prime minister election, said Fawad.

He said that Imran Khan will continue to hold meetings with political leaders in Bani Gala today while a session of parliamentary party has also been summoned on Monday.

Earlier, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen claimed that we will form governments in Punjab and the center while we will do a strong opposition in the Sindh assembly.

The PTI had taken the decisive lead by winning 116 seats against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former President Asif Zardari s Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) which won 64 and 43 seats, respectively.
