Pakistan urges Doctors without borders to help victims of Indian brutalities in IOK

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz on Friday requested “M’decins Sans FrontiŠres” (Doctors without Borders) to immediately provide medical assistance to thousands of injured in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOK).

The Advisor made the request a letter written to the International President of M’decins Sans FrontiŠres highlighting the state of medical emergency in IOK that has developed as a result of atrocious Indian brutalities against unarmed and defenseless civilians, a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here said.

The Adviser particularly emphasized the urgent need of eye surgeons, as hundreds of people were suffering from severe eye injuries caused by the use of pellet guns on peaceful protestors.
