NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says the military alliance fully supports the Afghan peace process to pave the way for reconciliation.
Addressing NATO's 70th anniversary in Washington, he urged Taliban to come to the negotiating table and find a political settlement with Afghan government.
Meanwhile addressing a joint meeting of the US Congress in Washington, Jens Stoltenberg said NATO does not want a new arms race with Russia.
He said NATO has no intention to deploy land-based missiles in Europe, urging Moscow to keep compliance with a landmark arms control treaty.
