AJK Govt to launch 5-year long-term plan for delivery of scholarships in various sectors

MIRPUR (AJK): AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that a 5-year long-term plan for delivery of scholarships for securing higher studies in health, education, agriculture, services delivery, poly technique and other professional fields was being launched soon in the State.
He was talking to the media after inaugurating newly constructed block in CMH under Prime Minister Community Infrastructure Development Programme in the State’s capital town.
The Prime disclosed that fully-furnished cardiac and trauma centers exclusively meant for heart and accident patients would soon be established in Muzaffarabad.
He expressed profound gratitude to UAE for construction of 250-bed CMH at Muzaffarabad. He said this hospital would be able to meet the requirements of medical facilities of the Muzaffarabad division if it was upgraded into 1000-bed hospital.
Haider said he would talk to Pakistan Prime Minister when he heads the next ERRA meeting on extension of AJK hospitals including CMH Muzaffarabad.
The Prime Minister assured that important needs of CMH Muzaffarabad would be met in the next fiscal year’s budget of AJK. More Beds would be added to Gynaecology ward, he stated.
Haider observed that a doctor’s profession was very sensitive as it deals with human lives. He urged the doctors to serve the suffering humanity in the best possible way.
The Commandant CMH Brigadier Hassan told that military and civilians of Muzaffarabad division, Neelum, Jhelum valleys, Abbottabad and Hazara are being provided medical facilities at Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayad Al-Nayan hospital. Expressing thanks to the Prime Minister he said with the cooperation of AJK government an additional block was constructed in CMH to provide modern medical facilities to the public.
