M4 Faisalabad - Multan Motorway inauguration date announced

ISLAMABAD - The Meeting of National Assembly Standing Committee on Communications was held in Multan on Thursday to review the progress on Pindi Bhattian Multan Motorway (M-4), Multan-Sukkur Motorway M-5 and tree plantation alongside the motorways.
MNA Hamid-ul-Haq Khalil presided over the meeting.
The Committee was informed that 238 kilometers long Motorway from Faisalabad to Multan would be opened for traffic in august this year.
About the progress of Multan-Sukkur motorway project, the meeting was briefed that 392 kilometers long motorway M-5 will be completed in August 2019 at a cost of 298 billion rupees.
It was also informed that forty thousand saplings will be planted on the banks of Gojra Khanewal motorway section while seventy thousand on Faisalabad Gojra Section.
