ISLAMABAD – Sharif family lawyers have taken up the issue of secret meetingbetween the DG NAB and the Accountability Judge.
Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris on Friday raisedthe issue of Director General of National Accountability Bureau (NAB)Rawalpindi Irfan Mangi’s meeting with the judges hearing corruptionreferences against the Sharif family, a day earlier.
Harris raised the issue during Friday’s hearing of Al-Azizia Steel Millsand Flagship Investment corruption references against the former primeminister and his family.
“There were reports in media about DG NAB Irfan Mangi meeting with judgesyesterday. We should refrain from such situations,” Harris said as thehearing went under way.
