PESHAWAR – Religious leader Maulana Ismail Darvesh was gunned down with hisguard at the Phandu area of the metropolis on Thursday night, policeinformed Media.
The law enforcement authority said that the motorcyclists opened fire atthe vehicle of the religious leader.
The deceased succumbed to his bullet wounds before reaching the hospitalfor immediate medical treatment, said a spokesperson of Lady ReadingHospital.
