Pakistan Squad for the World Cup 2023 revealed

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selection committee has initiated preliminary consultations for the World Cup squad and has reached an agreement to include the middle-order batsman Saud Shakeel as part of the 15-member squad. It is claimed that the World Cup squad may feature players such as Captain Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Saud Shakeel, Agha Salman, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Mohammad Nawaz.
The ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy is scheduled to be held on September 5th in Pakistan. Additionally, there is a possibility that players like Usama Mir, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Haris, and Wasim Junior may also be included in the World Cup squad.
The announcement of the 15-member squads for the ICC Cricket World Cup is expected to be made by September 5th, while teams can make changes to their squads without ICC approval until September 28th.
After September 28th, any changes to the squads will require ICC's approval. It is worth noting that the announcement of Pakistan's World Cup squad is recommended to occur after the conclusion of the Asia Cup, while the initial squad names are to be sent to the ICC by PCB by September 5th
