A joint counter-terrorism exercise called AL BATTAR-I has recently concluded in northwest Pakistan, with the participation of Pakistani and Saudi troops. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced this development on Monday.
This two-week-long exercise, which commenced last month, brought together special forces from both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The primary objective was to strengthen the historical military ties between Islamabad and Riyadh. The exercise aimed to foster a joint employment concept for counter-terrorism efforts and to identify potential areas of mutual interest for future military collaborations.
During this exercise, Special Forces and aviation experts showcased their exceptional professionalism in various air drills. The commitment and competence of these forces were evident throughout the training.
The final day of the exercise witnessed the presence of Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and senior military leaders. The event concluded with an impressive fly-past, symbolizing the successful collaboration between the two nations in the realm of counter-terrorism.
