Massive Reshuffle in the Bureaucracy

A significant reorganization of the bureaucratic landscape in Sindh has long been anticipated, with the caretaker provincial government now taking concrete steps in this direction. The caretaker administration has diligently compiled a roster of officers, and these details have been dispatched to the election commission for the necessary transfers and appointments within Sindh, according to inside sources.
Among the imminent changes, there are plans to replace the current Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners across Sindh. This anticipated shift in roles and responsibilities is expected to materialize with an official notification, possibly issued later today, as indicated by well-placed sources.
This development follows a directive from the Chief Election Commissioner, who, in a letter sent to Sindh's Caretaker Chief Minister, retired Justice Maqbool Baqar, urged the swift submission of proposals to the election commission regarding the transfer of officers within a one-week timeframe.
CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja emphasized in his correspondence that the election commission had issued specific instructions to provincial governments regarding the transfer of administrative officers. These directives encompassed the relocation of commissioners, deputy commissioners, and additional commissioners within the province.
Furthermore, the election commission had also called for the transfer of Regional Police Officers (RPOs), District Police Officers (DPOs), and various other law enforcement personnel operating within the region. This orchestrated transfer of officers is intended to ensure impartiality and efficiency in overseeing the forthcoming election, a goal that the CEC has earnestly emphasized in his communications with the Caretaker Chief Minister
