Major scandal of more than 5 billion rupees unearthed

In Lahore, a mega corruption scandal involving the Patwaris (revenue officials) of more than 5 billion rupees has come to light. According to details, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Lahore has sent a reference to the Anti-Corruption Punjab against the Patwaris and private agents involved in corruption. Action has been initiated against those involved in corruption.
Forgery in land records was carried out in the Patwari Circle of Tehsil City, Niaz Baig. Bogus documents were prepared for more than 50 fraudulent transactions.
Fake documents for the lands in the concealed areas of Niaz Baig Circle have also been created. Initial investigations have revealed evidence against local Patwari Khadim Hussain and others.
In the initial investigations, local Patwari Khadim Hussain and clerk Irfan were found to be involved. Deputy Office Law Officer Khawar Aziz Cheema and clerk Adnan were also found involved in this scandal.
