Trump warns Syria, Russia, Iran against 'reckless' attack on Idlib

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has warned Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his allies Iran and Russia not to recklessly attack Syria’s rebel-held Idlib province as hundreds of thousands of people could be killed.
Trump wrote in a tweet, said that the Russians and Iranians would be making a grave humanitarian mistake to take part in this potential human tragedy.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has visited Damascus to discuss plans for an upcoming summit between the leaders of Iran, Russia and Turkey, which Tehran will host on Friday to discuss Idlib.
