CTD Sindh saves Karachi from a big disaster

KARACHI – Counter Terrorism Department Sindh has saved Karachi from big disaster as three terrorists of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed and suicide jackets were recovered from the terrorists.
Terrorists who were planning to strike Karachi were killed in an encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) at Ittehad Town in Karachi on Tuesday.
The CTD and police jointly conducted a operation in the area of Ittehad Town. The law enforces agencies said that they were planning to carry out an attack in Karachi.
It was further reported that explosives, two suicide jackets, ball bearings and weapons were found during from the possession of the terrorists. Three terrorists killed during the joint operations were suicide bombers.
The process to identify the terrorists is under way and the security officials cordoned off the area. The search operations are under way to arrest accomplices of the terrorists.
