Gill's exceptional form in the first two matches of India's ODI series against Australia has been remarkable, accumulating a total of 178 runs in these initial contests.
During the series opener in Mohali, he swiftly scored 74 runs, and in Indore, he notched up his sixth ODI century, propelling him to a career-high rating in the updated ODI batters list.
Gill now boasts 847 rating points, trailing Babar by just 10 rating points as the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup is set to commence on October 5th.
