4 TTP terrorists gunned down by CTD in deadly encounter

In Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) reported that they conducted an operation on Wednesday, resulting in the elimination of four alleged TTP terrorists.

According to the CTD spokesperson, these terrorists were engaged in activities such as extortion, target killings, and other acts of terror. The spokesperson also stated that they recovered four hand grenades, pistols, bullets, six kilograms of explosive materials, and additional weaponry from the terrorists.

In a previous operation in the Aghbarg area of Quetta, the CTD had eliminated four alleged terrorists. The spokesperson indicated that these terrorists were associated with a banned organization and disclosed the recovery of suicide jackets, five hand grenades, and explosive materials from the terrorists' hideout.

The spokesman also mentioned that these terrorists were involved in the killing of police and security personnel in Kuchlak. On September 7, the Counter-Terrorism Department conducted separate operations in Balochistan, resulting in the elimination of eight terrorists.

According to the spokesperson, one of the operations took place in Basima, a town in the Washuk district, based on a tipoff. During the operation, a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized, and efforts are underway to confirm the identity of the deceased terrorists.
