Court sent mother under charges of killing daughter on judicial remand

HYDERABAD: In the murder case of a 6 years old child who was allegedly killed by her mother, the court here sent the suspected killer to jail on 11-day judicial remand.
According to the details, the B-Section police produced the suspect Shagufta Arain before the Additional Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate I Shahnawaz Jamari after her three-day physical remand.
The court considering the prosecutor's request remanded her to the jail custody.
Last week, the police with the help of the CCTV footage traced the suspected killer in the mysterious murder case in which the child Armish Aftab's dead body was dumped at a street's corner in Latifabad in a black plastic bag.
On Sunday, the court recorded the suspect's confessional statement under 164 CrPC in which she admitted having committed the crime.
According to the complainant in the FIR, Muhammad Aftab Arain, Armish was their only child.
