Pakistan Stock Exchange closes at all time high  

KARACHI: (APP) The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday closed at all time high at 41,148 points.

This was stated by the chairman of the FPCCI Standing Committee on banking and Finance, Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig.

He was of the view that one of the reasons was increase in the shares of the oil companies.

Dr Baig, who is also the chairman of the Baig Group of Companies, further pointed out that there was portfolio investment by the foreign investors which also gave a boost to the PSX.

He stated that there was also investment in the textile sector today.

Dr Baig said that there was also information that Shanghai bourse has shown interest in buying stake in PSX.
