Shadab Khan, the vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team, is uncertain to participate in their upcoming World Cup match against New Zealand due to a recent concussion.
He might be replaced by leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed. During their previous game against South Africa, Shadab suffered a concussion when he landed awkwardly on his shoulder, and his head made contact with the ground. Usama Mir took his place in that match, which Pakistan won.
This incident marks Shadab's third concussion since September last year. While he did participate in a training session in Bengaluru, the decision about his participation in the upcoming game will be made closer to the match.
Official sources from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) suggest that Abrar Ahmed is likely to step in for Shadab Khan in the crucial match against New Zealand scheduled for tomorrow, November 4.
