Three more soldiers of Pakistan Army martyred in IBOs

Two separate security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in the killing of two terrorists, while three soldiers martyred on Friday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

In a statement issued by the military's media wing, it was reported that the first operation took place in the Rori area of Dera Ismail Khan district, and it was intelligence-based. During this operation, one terrorist was eliminated, and two others sustained injuries. The slain terrorist was identified as Usama, a member of the outlawed TTP, and he was a suicide bomber planning a high-profile attack in the region.

In a different operation carried out in Lakki Marwat district, another terrorist was neutralized, and numerous terrorist hideouts were discovered.

Tragically, during these operations, an exchange of gunfire with terrorists resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers. The fallen soldiers were identified as Naik Zafar Iqbal, aged 37, from Gujranwala district, and Sepoy Haji Jan, aged 30, hailing from Gilgit Baltistan's Ghizer district.

Additionally, an improvised explosive device detonated in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, leading to the martyrdom of Havildar Shahid Iqbal, aged 39, who was a resident of Mirpurkhas district.
