Will the Pakistan-New Zealand match be affected by rain? The Indian Meteorological Department has issued the latest weather report for Bangalore, indicating that the possibility of the scheduled match being more affected by rain during the week is low. It is reported that during a practice session at the Bangalore Cricket Stadium on Friday, a brief spell of heavy rain occurred, lasting up to 5 minutes, followed by light drizzle.
Meanwhile, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, a decision has been made to use special technology to protect the match from rain.
According to the stadium staff, the "sub-air system" installed in the ground will prevent water from accumulating on the field. As soon as the rain ends, the sub-air system will automatically start, and within 15 to 20 minutes of the rain stopping, the ground will be made fit for play.
According to the ground staff, this system can extract 10,000 liters of water per minute. The sub-air system was installed in the Chinnaswamy Stadium in 2016. It is worth noting that rain is predicted for the match between Pakistan and New Zealand in the World Cup this week.
There is a threat of rain in the matches of the ICC Cricket World Cup between Pakistan and New Zealand this week. The ground staff at Chinnaswamy Stadium is confident that they are fully prepared to prevent water accumulation on the outfield.
