Shahbaz Gill urges PML-N to honour court decision

LAHORE: Spokesman for Chief Minister Punjab Dr Shahbaz Gill said the PML-N leadership should honour the court decision about former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s bail in the same way which they had shown when the decision came in their favour.
No serious initiative was taken by the Sharif family during the six weeks of bail period for treatment of Nawaz Sharif, he said.
He said the Punjab government had shown more concern regarding Nawaz Sharif’s treatment than the Sharif family itself, said a handout issued here.
Nawaz Sharif did not avail all those medical facilities offered by the Punjab government to him, he added.
Shahbaz Gill said that Nawaz Sharif merely visited Sharif Medical complex for few tests, which was situated in front of his residence, whereas a complete cardiac unit was set up for him in the jail.
Nawaz Sharif was also offered to avail medical facility from any hospital of the country, he added.
