Pakistan to participate in China’s 70th founding anniversary celebrations

Pakistan will take part in celebrations of 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, by sending a cultural troupe.
This was stated by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing in Islamabad.
She said strengthening cooperation in the fields of information and culture will further cement relations between the two countries.
She also emphasized the need for exchange of delegations in fields of media, information and culture so that both sides could learn from each others' best practices and expertise.
The Chinese Ambassador emphasized the need to further strengthen cultural cooperation and termed it as one of the key components to establish a connect between the people of two countries.
The Ambassador also briefed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister regarding various training programs conducted by Chinese Embassy for the media persons in Pakistan.
