Process of land allotment to landless people of Cholistan underway

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Minister for Cooperatives, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar says scrutiny process of applications received for the allotment of land to landless people of Cholistan is in progress.
Talking to Radio Pakistan Bahawalpur Correspondent, he said so far about fifty-five thousand applications have been received by the Cholistan Development Authority for the allotment of land.
He said twenty-two thousand, six hundred and fifty-one applications have been found valid after scrutiny while the process of scrutiny of remaining applications is in progress. APP/AFP
