Intense clashes erupted between Students and Indian forces in IOK

ISLAMABAD: Intense clashes erupted in Budgam town today, between the students of Government Degree College Budgam and Indian forces in Indian occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Servic, clashes started after police tried to stop students from marching towards the main town.

"As the students marched outside the college, to protest against the continuous detention of the students throughout the valley, police used tear gas shells to disperse them," local sources said.

The students re-assembled and started raising slogans demanding the release of students. When police chased the students they retaliated by pelting stones, which triggered intense clashes, they said. When this report was being filled the clashes were going on.

Meanwhile protests were also reported from other parts of Budgam district also. (APP)
