NAB tightens noose around corrupt officers

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau Executive Board meeting has approved to initiate three new inquiries including against former MD Sui Southern Gas Company here at today.
As per details, NAB Executive Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Qamar Zaman Ch. here at today in Islamabad where meeting decided to start three new inquiries against corrupt officers.
Inquiry is going to be started against Karachi University VC Dr. Qasier over the illegal use of provident funds and recruitment in University while another inquiry would be launched against former MD. Sui Southern Gas Company Iqbal Siddiqui over the allegations to purchase assets, violating the rules and regulations.
Third inquiry has been approved by NAB against former Chairman National Investment Trust Tariq Iqbal while inquiry has been closed against Liquidator National Construction Company MD Nadir Shah during the meeting of NAB.
