Pakistani PM Imran Khan inaugural address at the 14th Economic Cooperation Organisation Summit

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday inaugurated the 14th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit.

According to the details, Imran Khan opened the Summit in his capacity as chair of Pakistan. The Summit is taking place entirely online.

While addressing the Summit, Imran Khan said that the purpose of the summit is to consider a roadmap for regional economic development. He said that no one will be safe from the coronavirus unless everyone is safe.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the equitable supply of vaccines against the coronavirus on global level is essential to prevent the virus spread. Imran Khan said that the supply of corona vaccine has started in Pakistan.

Commenting about the Ehsaas Program, Prime Minister said the poor sector of Pakistan was provided the needed value and financial support despite of the economic crisis amid the coronavirus pandemic. Imran Khan said that the initiative saved people from starvation.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the world economy contracted by the 5 percent due to the novel coronavirus.

Imran Khan also added that linking Islam and terrorism is the biggest Injustice ever done to Muslims.
