ATC grants physical remand of five suspected terrorists

HYDERABAD:The Anti Terrorism Court here Saturday granted separate 7-day and 5-day physical remands of the 5 suspected terrorists who were arrested from Hatri area of Hyderabad the other day.
The Hatri police produced Muzaffar Nagraj, Murtaza Abro, Shakeel Ghangro, Rafaqat Jarwar and Aarib Soomro before the court where Qasimabad police also requested the court for their remand.
The police spokesman informed that the suspects were booked under sections of Anti Terrorism Act and Explosives Act in the limits of 2 police stations.
Earlier on Friday DIG Hyderabad Javed Alam Odho declared arrest of those suspected terrorists and claimed that their commander Nagraj received terrorism training in India.
The DIG implicated them in several terrorism incidents taking place in different districts of Sindh since 2016.
The police claimed of recovering 4 improvised explosive devices, 12 kilograms of explosives, 3 pistols, a Kalashnikov and live bullets from their possession.APP/AFP
