The UN-sponsored Syrian peace talks concluded in Geneva with an agreement from the conflicting parties to pursue further talks on a political transition to end the crisis.
Speaking to reporters UN diplomat Staffan De Mistura called the round of talks substantive and said the parties had agreed to hold talks in March to discuss to settle the conflict through political means.
He warned that there are people in Syria and outside who still believe there is a military option or a military solution.
