Twitter Blue paid subscription is out, check out the new features

Social networking site Twitter has introduced its first paid subscription service what it is named Twitter Blue.

The service has been officially and initially launched in Australia and Canada

Users who receive the service will be allowed to access premium features, including tools to organize your bookmarks, read threads in a clutter-free format and take advantage of an “Undo Tweet” feature — which is the closest thing Twitter will have to the long-requested “Edit” button.

Twitter said in a blog post that “This subscription offering is simply meant to add enhanced and complementary features to the already existing Twitter experience for those who want it.”

“Subscribers will also get access to perks, such as customizable app icons for their device’s home screen and fun color themes for their Twitter app, and will have access to dedicated subscription customer support.” Added the statement issued by Twitter.

The service will be available in Canada and Australia for $3.49 CAD and $4.49 AUD, respectively.

People close to the development say that alternative sources of revenue are being explored by Twitter as its main source of revenue is advertising.
