NAB impartially pursing accountability process: Javed Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice Javed Iqbal said the anti graft watchdog was an impartially pursuing the accountability process sans any discrimination or caring about any duress.

Justice Javed Iqbal, Chairman National Accountability Bureau said in a statement that the action had never been taken in past against the influentials involved in the corruption and obviously that encouraged lower level corruption.

He said NAB has focused on eliminating mega level corruption which would help gradually minimising the lower level corruption in the country.

Brushing aside the apprehensions of business community which are affecting the business activities, the chairman asked them to work fearlessly and with dedication as per law.

The basic aim of NAB was to check corruption of government officials and corruption in public funds.

NAB was not against the persons contributing in the economy.

The persons working for the betterment of country’s economy would have no complaint from the NAB.
