Defence, security experts concerned over India's ballistic missile 'Agni-5' test-fire

NEW DELHI: India test-fired nuclear capable long range ballistic missile, Agni-5 from Abdul Kalam Wheeler Island off the Odisha coast today.

The surface-to-surface missile developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has a strike range of 5,000 kilometres and can carry a nuclear warhead of more than one tonne.

Meanwhile ,defence and security experts have expressed grave concerns at Indian test , sayaing that New Delhi wants to establish hegemony in the region and is fueling arms race in the South Asia by carrying out such attacks.
