Pakistan raises serious concerns over US leaving Afghanistan without settling the Afghan issue

Advisor to Prime Minster on National Security Dr Moeed Yusuf says Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan and will not allow anyone to use its soil against Kabul.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan wants a peaceful environment with neighbouring countries in all fields.

Dr Moeed Yusuf said the United States is leaving Afghanistan without settling the Afghan issue.

Replying to a question, the Advisor on National Security said Pakistan played a role of facilitator to attain peace in Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan is committed for a durable peace in Afghanistan and cannot bear a civil war like situation there.
