Rahul Gandhi resigns as Congress party leader

India's Congress party leader, Rahul Gandhi has resigned from his post today (Wednesday).
In his resignation letter, which he tweeted, he took responsibility for the party's defeat in the recent general election.
He added that he had no hatred or anger towards India's ruling BJP.
Mr Gandhi's father, grandmother and great grandfather were all former Prime Ministers.
