Split Muslims, Unite Hindus under Hinduism to win elections in India, BJP unveils new elections strategy

MUMBAI – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Subramanian Swamy on Friday said that he has told Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi that the elections can be won on promoting Hinduism instead of economic performance.

In an interview, the MP said that the polls are won on emotions. Neither Vajpayeeji won nor did Morarji as they did not focus on the sentiments of Hindus, he added.

He said that Hinduvta should have been promoted.

What I am talking about is the politics that has been prevailing for the past 70 years is dividing Hindus by caste, region, language and varna. Divide the Hindus and unite the minorities. Combine the 15 to 16 percent Muslim and Christian votes with the SC, OBC votes, he continued.

Swamy further said, “Choose candidates accordingly and form the majority. This is what has been happening.”

He revealed, “A new strategy was formed by BJP and RSS to do the opposite of what has been happening till now. Unite the Hindus by appealing to them. Split a section of Muslim women away from the Muslim votebank through the Triple Talaq Bill. Carve out the Bohras and Shias from the votebank and Isolate the Wahabi and Sunni block. We get the majority through this formula.”
