Syrian peace talks suspended over protest by opposition against military action
GENEVA: Syrian peace talks were suspended before beginning and are expected to resume on February 25.

Syrian peace talks were suppose to be held in Geneva between Syrian government and opposition with the mediation of UN.

Talks were suspended because Government cut a key supply route to the rebel held city of Aleppo.

Russian airstrikes are continuously targeting opposition groups which is also a reason of talks suspension.

Both parties blamed each other for the suspension of peace talks.

A conference of donor countries will be held in London on Thursday to review the suspension and to restart the peace talks.
