Iranian born first Muslim woman to reach in space
WASHINGTON: Anousheh Ansari was born in Iran and migrated to US after Iranian revolution for a better life.
Anousheh Ansari is a computer scientist and an entrepreneur.
She is the first Muslim woman to go to space and she used her own funds for this adventure.
She was selected as a backup member and she got training for six months in Russia’s Star City.
She also spent eight days inside the ship as the air lock was disqualified in the space ship.
