The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to three players—Usama Mir, Haris Rauf, and Zaman Khan—for their participation in the upcoming 13th season of the Big Bash League (BBL). These NOCs, however, are tailored to cover specific matches rather than spanning the entire duration of the event.
Haris Rauf and Usama Mir have been issued NOCs for a combined total of five matches, while Zaman Khan has received an NOC for four matches. All of these scheduled games are set to take place from December 7th to December 28th.
In a press release, the PCB stated, “The board has issued the NOCs considering the workload of players and the future tours programme of the national men’s team.” The decision to customize the NOCs is evidently influenced by a careful assessment of the players' workloads and the national team's upcoming tour schedule.
The press release further emphasized, “The PCB understands that this decision is in the best interests of all the stakeholders involved while balancing the importance of game time with workload management.” This indicates a strategic approach by the PCB to prioritize the players' well-being and ensure a harmonious balance between game participation and managing their workload effectively.
