Reacting to the Prime Minister's announcement to dissolve the National Assembly, journalist Hamid Mir has said that even the umpires were stunned by the action of the Prime Minister.
The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was rejected before the vote.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri dismissed the no-confidence motion as unconstitutional. The President has been advised to dissolve the Assembly.
