Call to remove Babar Azam as T20 captain of Pakistan

Lahore: Former Test cricketer Mudassar Nazar has called for a change in Pakistan T20I captaincy to relieve pressure from current skipper Babar Azam.
The prolific run-getter has had great success in the shortest format of the game, where he so far has captained the Men-in-Green in 40 matches – winning 29, losing nine while five ended in no result.
However, speaking to Cricket Pakistan, Nazar claimed that despite a successful run, Babar should not be leading the Pakistan side in T20Is.
“If it was up to me, I would replace Babar with Rizwan for T20Is. Definitely,” Nazar said.
Nazar also said that Azam holds the key for the Men-in-Green in international cricket.
