US approves to sell 24 multi-mission helicopters to India

The US State Department says it will get approval from the Congress for a possible foreign military sale of twenty-four MH-60-R Multi-Mission helicopters to India.
In a statement, the US Defence Security Cooperation Agency said that it has delivered the required certification notifying the Congress about this sale.
Besides helicopters, the US military sale include other equipment like multi-mode radars, engines, Airborne Low Frequency System, Hellfire missiles, night vision devices, rockets and other weapons.
The military sale to India has estimated cost of 2.6 billion dollars.
