KABUL – Afghan government forces have claimed killing key TalibanCommander in an operation against Taliban.
The security forces conducted airstrikes in South-eastern Ghazni provincekilling at least 26 Taliban militants including a senior commander of thegroup.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the security forcesconducted the airstrikes in Qarabagh district of Ghazni.
The statement further added that the airstrikes killed at least 26militants of Taliban.
Ministry of Defense said the airstrikes also killed Mullah Haibatullah,one of the senior commanders of Taliban in Ghazni.
