ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy has started to enhance its strategic outreach inthe region with Naval submarines and war ships visiting different friendlycountries ports in the region.
Recently Pakistan Navy warship have visited Pacific ocean countries andheld joint naval exercises with Chinese counterpart.
Now Pakistan Navy (PN) warships and submarine have reached Muscat as partof training visit, said a statement from PN.
The flotilla comprised the submarine PNS Hurmat, sail ship PNS Rahnawardand support ship PNS Rasadgar.
During the visit, the mission commander and commanding officers of the PNships and submarines held important meetings with various Royal Navy ofOman officers.
“The visit was aimed at improving interoperability and strengthening ofbilateral ties between the two navies and creating opportunities forlearning from each other’s experiences.
The visit also afforded the crews and officers of the navy flotilla to holdprofessional interactions with personnel from RNO.
Commodore Altaf Hussain commanded the flotilla as mission commander duringthe port visit.
