Hareem Shah, a prominent TikTok personality, found herself in a whirlwind of turmoil when her husband, Bilal Shah, mysteriously vanished shortly after his arrival in Karachi from London last week. In a video message broadcasted by Geo News from her location in London, Hareem made a startling claim that her husband had been "kidnapped for unknown reasons."
However, Bilal's family had a different perspective, contending that he was being interrogated in connection to Hareem's social media activities.
Their journey to London had commenced approximately two months ago, following a legal battle involving Hareem and another TikTok influencer, Sundal Khattak. Bilal's departure from London to Karachi occurred eight days before his disappearance, a mere two days after his arrival in Karachi from a bustling local market, according to Hareem's account.
Reports emanating from sources in Karachi disclosed that Bilal had informed investigators that Hareem was not directly managing her Twitter account; instead, someone else was administering it with her consent. Hareem passionately asserted, "Bilal and I were in London, and he went to Pakistan for some work.
He was illegally kidnapped by some individuals in plain attire. We lodged a complaint with the local police station, but nobody could provide any insight into the reasons behind his abduction. We have also filed a petition with the court. Bilal has been taken away unlawfully."
She went on to plea, "I implore law enforcement agencies to locate my husband. He has no involvement in politics or any form of activism. He possesses a clean record with no prior criminal activities. Our distress is growing, and we are enduring a harrowing period."
