Government surrenders before Sheikh Rashid demand

RAWALPINDI: Chief of his own faction of Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has threatened the government against the closure of the roads by containers.
Following the threat by Sheikh Rashid the city Administration has cleared all roads leading to Lal Haveli after Chief of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed on Saturday warned the government of ‘paving their own ways’ if containers were not cleared for their participation in joint rally on Murree Road.
While addressing media earlier today, Rasheed warned the government of moving towards Islamabad and Benazir International Airport if movement of political workers to Rehmanabad from Liaquat Bagh was hindered.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed along with PAT chairman Dr. Tahir ul Qadri is going to address the Qasas rally in Rawalpindi.
