US Dollar falls further against Pakistani Rupee in interbank

In the interbank market, the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) continued its upward trend against the US dollar on Tuesday. This marked the 19th consecutive session of gains, a trend that started after authorities cracked down on the informal currency market early last month.

As reported by the Forex Association of Pakistan, the rupee strengthened by Rs1.06 against the US dollar, reaching Rs285.70 at 9:48 am compared to the previous day's closing rate of Rs286.76.

Meanwhile, in the open market, the US dollar experienced a 50 paise depreciation, trading at Rs286 in the morning session, according to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
