Top Pakistani geologist confirms severe threats of Earthquake

Karachi: The Seismological Research Institute Solar System Geometry Survey (SSG-ASG) has predicted a strong earthquake in the underground Chaman Fault Line in Balochistan in the next two days. Balochistan's expert geologist, Professor Dr. Din Muhammad Kakar, states that there are no immediate scientific signs of earthquakes in Balochistan, but a more intense earthquake could occur on the Chaman Fault Line in the next 6 to 8 years.

Speaking to a private channel, geology expert Dr. Din Muhammad stated that the public does not need to be more alarmed by the recent earthquake prediction. Short-term earthquake predictions within 24 to 48 hours are not possible.

They further mentioned that a major earthquake occurred in this fault line in 1892, causing widespread destruction in the old Chaman city. Although the Chaman Fault Line is now active, it is not accurate to say that an immediate earthquake can occur from it.

Dr. Din Muhammad Kakar explained that the Chaman Fault Line does not directly affect Quetta, as Quetta has its own fault line.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has also stated regarding SSG-ASG's recent prediction that it is impossible to predict when and where an earthquake will occur. No predictions can be made.
